Split Britches is very experienced in running a wide variety of workshops in an international context. Our major expertise is in building collaboration, collective devising, solo performance, applied performance, interventions into classical texts, performance and representation of gender and sexuality.

We have given workshops and talks for institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, UCLA, Federation for International Research in Theatre (Helsinki) American Theatre in Higher Education and Theatre Institute (Warsaw), Peoples Palace Projects and Performing Medicine ( UK), Taipei Women's Theater Festival and Hemispheric Institute for Performance and Politics in the Americas

Artist residencies include: Wellesley and Hampshire Colleges and the Universities of Texas, Michigan, Hawaii, and Lancaster (UK).

Artist's Talks
Both Lois Weaver and Peggy Shaw have presented papers and given artist's talks to community groups, conferences, schools and colleges. Our main areas of expertise are: gender, sexuality, applied performance, collaboration, longevity, strategies for survival.
